About us

Baby Daycare was started by Fieroza Baboo and is run from home in a purpose-built building that is designed around little ones. We offer a warm and caring environment and do our utmost to make sure every child is happy.

Fieroza is a qualified Basic Ambulance Assistant, so you know your baby is in good hands.

When we are open, we stay open during school holidays too, closing only on public holidays and in December.

Late collection: R50 per 15 minutes. No cash or cheques - please ask for banking details in person and use your child's name as the reference.

Read all rules and regulations
  1. Ages 6 months to 4 years.
  2. Operating hours are 06:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.
  3. Closed on public holidays and during the December school holidays.
  4. Fees: registration R500 (non-refundable); full day R2800 per month; half day R1950 per month. No cash or cheques accepted. Please request banking details in person and use your child's name as reference. Overtime: an additional R50 is charged for every 15 minutes late.
  5. All fees must be paid in advance, on or before the 1st of every month. Full fees must be paid during holidays, including December, as fees are calculated over a 12-month period. Monthly fees increase annually.
  6. One month's notice must be given if your child is leaving the daycare. No refund will be given.
  7. Sick children: the daycare reserves the right to decide whether a child may attend for health reasons. The daycare must be notified of any illness, and it is advisable to keep your child at home when ill.
  8. The principal and staff will not be held responsible for any loss of or damage to property, or injury to your child due to accidents or any other incidents during the period of attendance. We do stress that Baby Daycare and its staff will take the usual good care of your child.
  9. Parents are responsible for any medical fees for their child if an incident arises.
  10. All clothing and personal belongings must be clearly marked.

We are just down the road from the Shoprite. Look for the grey and red house.

From Southgate

Travel east on Rifle Range Road for 1.8 km, then turn right onto Louis Street. At the T-junction turn right onto Stefanus Street. We are the 3rd house on the right.

From the Spar on Swartgoud Street

Travel north towards Rifle Range Road. After going over the N12, take the first left onto Stefanus Street. Come straight down Stefanus and where the road bends to the right you will find Baby Daycare on the right.
